This set includes functional units and modules of Data Communication Digital System STREAM-2:
- Telecommunication modem MTP-2102;
- Remote power insertion unit BVP-2101;
- Remote power supply unit RPU-700;
- Regenerator module RL-U-P or REG-T2.
This set is designed for long-distance transmission of 4 E1 streams and Ethernet traffic over balanced using regenerator modules.
Scopes
- Maximum amount of transmitted data - up to 30 Mbps;
- It is ideal for replacement of the equipment IKM-120;
- Transmission of four E1 streams with independent synchronization;
- Ethernet traffic transmission 10/100;
- The possibility for arrangement of the transfer of two independent Ethernet channels with rates of up to 15 Mbps each;
- Arrangement of a linear joint using two pairs of a balanced cable;
- Support of single-cable and two-cable modes of operation to ensure mutual compatibility with frequency-division multiplex equipment;
- Fast line connection and restoration in case of interruption of communication - less than 45 s;
- Remote power supply of the regeneration modules of the set;
- Up to 24 pcs of the remote-powered regenerators in one communication segment (when powered from both sides);
- The ability to input the remote power in the regeneration module;
- Local and remote monitoring and control of all components of the set using the management program "Potok-2" with a convenient graphical environment.
